The circle around the outside represents the cycle of our life, from the beginning to end.  The circle with-in represents each day as it comes to an open and close, full circle completing.  The Ti leaf plant or ki leaf is held very sacred by the people of Polynesia.  Ti leaf plant has many uses from medicine, food, leis and more commonly to help ward off evil.  This we centered to help protect all aspects.
