Well, the flexible design forms a tight fit around the mag while the elastic cords at the top secure it in place. MOLLE straps allow you to attach it to your existing gear or around your belt. This is intended to fit M16 style mags but because of the flex in the design this pouch will fit most common assault rifle mags. Excellent for airsoft or paintball players.
